A Holiday Gift for You (Introducing Ukulele Karaoke)

December 8, 2022

Today I’m happy to share the first in a series I’ve been thinking of as Ukulele Karaoke—audio files you can sing and play along to, whether you’re jamming with friends or strumming on your own. To celebrate the holidays, and to express my gratitude for your support, I’m offering an MP3 of Jingle Bells as a free download! Note: while the download is free, you will have to go through some of the checkout process in order to receive the download link.

Jingle Bells, Key of C
$0.00

Over the next few weeks, I hope to share more songs to accompany my Christmas songbook. Here’s what to expect from each song:

  • Set in the Key of C to make it beginner-friendly

  • Set at a reasonable tempo for strumming, not too fast or too slow

  • Instrumental. No vocals, unless you decide to add your own!

  • Pleasant sounding on its own, but complementary to uke strumming

  • 8 bar intro, to help you ease into the song

In addition, each song will be arranged to perfectly accompany the songs in Oh, What Fun! If the song in the songbook is formatted with four verses, that’s what you will hear in the audio file. In the instance of Jingle Bells, you will hear three verses, with each verse followed by the chorus.

I hope you enjoy playing along with Jingle Bells! And of course, you can always sing and strum along with my Jingle Bells ukulele play-along, too.

PS: It’s hard for me to wrap my brain around this, but the Musical Mama community is truly global. Music-makers of all ages are using my books, charts, and tutorials in dozens of countries around the globe, including Australia, Belize, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam, just to name a few! However you found me, I glad you’re here and I hope that I’ve been able to help you in your music-making journey. Happy holidays, and happy strumming!
